These roles are part of South Australia's major early learning reform — introducing universal access to 3-year-old preschool by 2026. This is a chance to support services and communities across the Barossa to give every child a better start in life.
Implementation Officer (ASO5) – Outer Northern Suburbs & Barossa Valley
Support local early childhood services to deliver universal preschool.
This role includes:
- Advising services on funding, policy, and data obligations
- Turning policies into local implementation plans
- Managing compliance and reporting
- Building relationships with providers and stakeholders

Implementation Partner (ASO6) – Outer Northern Suburbs & Barossa Valley
Lead local efforts to increase participation and improve outcomes.
This role includes:
- Supporting services to enrol more children and lift attendance
- Removing barriers to access in regional communities
- Using data to inform planning and resource allocation
- Building regional partnerships with providers and government agencies
