Seven local young people have completed a major milestone in the Barossa Young Ambassador Program — presenting personal projects developed over nine months of mentoring, networking, and community involvement.
The presentations, held at Peter Lehmann Wines, explored opportunities across tourism, sustainability, hospitality, workforce development, community well-being, and the arts.
Among the 2025 participants is Jakob Waldowski, a Barossa Regional University Campus student studying a Bachelor of Business (Economics, Finance, and Trade) at the University of South Australia. As a local student based at BRUC, Jakob brings a strong connection to the region and a desire to contribute meaningfully to community events like the Barossa Vintage Festival.
The Barossa Young Ambassador Program helps participants build skills, confidence, and networks while contributing to one of the region’s most iconic events. The program concludes in April with the announcement of the Barossa Young Ambassador Award.
