The State Planning Commission has released (the Plan), providing South Australians the opportunity to shape the region's future. This long-term strategy outlines where people will live, work, and access services across Greater Adelaide, focusing on sustainable growth, infrastructure, and environmental priorities. Through extensive community and stakeholder collaboration, the Plan sets a vision for the next 30 years, ensuring the maintenance of green spaces, recognition of neighbourhood character, and modernisation of essential services.

This follows feedback from the earlier Greater Adelaide Regional Plan Discussion Paper, which sparked healthy debate on issues such as zoning changes, transport infrastructure, and urban development. With public consultation now open, South Australians are invited to contribute their views on key planning priorities. By sharing insights, residents can help guide the future of urban development, ensuring the region remains vibrant, liveable, and sustainable for generations to come.
