In today's fast-paced world, it's crucial to be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle emergency situations. Whether it's a minor injury or a life-threatening situation, the ability to provide first aid can mean the difference between life and death. That's why we are excited to announce a First Aid course being held on February 15 at the Barossa Regional University Campus.

The First Aid course will cover a wide range of topics, including anaphylaxis, asthma, CPR techniques, incident reporting, emergency assessment, and more. Participants will learn the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, and manage casualties until the arrival of medical or other assistance. The cost of the course is $155.00 + booking fee and includes a nationally accredited statement of attainment from First Aid SA, as well as a light lunch. All participants are required to bring their USIs (www.usi.gov.au).

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive the nationally recognized unit of competence HLTAID011 Provide First Aid. This certification is valid for 3 years, giving participants peace of mind that their first aid knowledge is up-to-date and ready to use in any emergency situation.

This event is open to 15 participants only, so don't miss out on this opportunity to empower yourself with the skills and knowledge necessary to help save a life. Register now and take the first step towards becoming a confident first aider.
