The "Podcast 101" four-part series of workshops had participants plan, record and edit their way to their first productions, thanks to a collaboration between The Barossa Council Public Library and Barossa Regional University Campus.
Attendees ranged from students and business owners, to BBBfm volunteers and community development professionals like Lorinda Bayley, who intends to use what she learned to help support a future Mid-Murray Suicide Prevention Network project.
"We want to interview people, our neighbours, our friends - ordinary everyday people who might have gone through some tough times - and talk about the strategies they've used to overcome them or if they've come to an acceptance," Lorinda said. "It's also about trying to reduce the stigma about mental health."
