It’s Semester 1, 2024! Time for a fresh start and a golden opportunity to ditch those old study habits for some new, more productive ones. At Barossa Regional University Campus, we're all about helping you make the most of your study time. Here are some top tips to help you get ahead this year:

✍️ Handwritten Notes: While tech has its place, never underestimate the power of handwritten notes. Platforms like OneNote and Apple Notes can help organise your study material digitally, but physically writing down information can greatly aid in retention. Scribbling notes and highlighting key points in the margins can enhance your learning experience, making it easier to recall information.

🃏 Use Cue Cards for Revision: Re-reading lecture slides might not cut it when exam time rolls around. Try cue cards instead! Writing questions on one side and answers on the other can make revision sessions more active and engaging.

🗓️ Plan Your Study Schedule: Mapping out your deadlines and creating a revision plan with goals can make a big difference. It helps balance your workload and ensures you're giving equal attention to all your subjects.

🏠 Create a Dedicated Study Space: A proper study setup is key. If studying at home isn't working for you, our campus offers the perfect study spaces to get you into study mode.

Remember, you're not alone in this journey. There's plenty of support available, both online and right here at Barossa Regional University Campus. If you need help, reach out and make an appointment with Hayley via our website. Here's to a successful and productive semester!
