Have your say on access to public transport
The Australian Government is committed to ensuring that all individuals, including those with disabilities, can access public transport without facing discrimination. However, there is currently low public awareness of the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (Transport Standards). To address this, feedback is being sought on how to better communicate these standards to the public.
You are invited to participate in a short, 10-minute survey designed to gather your views and suggestions. Your responses will remain confidential and anonymous and will play a crucial role in shaping communication strategies to enhance awareness and understanding of the Transport Standards.
Why Your Feedback Matters
Your input will help ensure that people with disabilities are well-informed about their rights and the accessibility options available to them when using public transport. By increasing awareness, the overall travel experience for individuals with disabilities can be improved, making public transport more inclusive and accessible for everyone.
