Fourteen third-year occupational therapy (OT) students from the University of South Australia visited the Barossa Regional University Campus on Friday August 16 as part of their Participatory Community Practice (PCP) course. They learned from local organizations like Barossa Mental Health and Lutheran Homes Barossa about community-based projects focused on connecting isolated community members. Working in pairs, the students aim to gain skills beyond traditional OT practice. In the afternoon, they visited Abilities OT and Ali Murch (OT) to learn more about the profession. The campus supports their efforts and wishes them success.
