Water Research Australia (WaterRA) invites applications for its Masters Scholarship, supporting students at Australian universities engaged in water-related research. This scholarship is a launchpad for careers in research and the water industry.

Masters by Research:

  • Stipend: $10,000
  • Operating Allowance: $7,500
  • Conference Support: $2,500
  • Professional Development: $5,000 plus mentorship, AWA membership, and engagement with industry.

Masters by CourseWork:

  • Stipend: $7,000
  • Operating Allowance: $3,000
  • Conference Support: $2,500
  • Professional Development: $3,000 plus additional benefits similar to the research stream.

Eligibility

Open to domestic students who:

  • Have secured a primary scholarship at their host university.
  • Are enrolled full-time in a water-related Masters programme.

Application Process

  1. Discuss your project with the listed supervisor.
  2. Apply for a full stipend primary scholarship at your university.
  3. Complete the WaterRA application form, detailing relevant experience, skills, and motivation.
  4. Attach all documentation, including CV and academic transcript, as one file.
  5. Inform your referees before applying.
